On April 29, 2022, a 31-year-old woman was stabbed to death on the street in Berlin-Pankow by her husband, who was 11 years older. The two had 6 children. The mother dies at the scene. The perpetrator flees by bicycle, later turning himself in to the police or being taken to the police by 2 guards at the refugee shelter where the family was staying.
