On 14 June 2026, a fatal shooting occurred in a village in the Seydan District of Marvdasht County, Fars Province, Iran.

According to Rokna, a 26-year-old man opened fire during a family dispute.

The victims were his 18-year-old fiancée and his 22-year-old brother.

Both were shot and killed at the scene.

After the shooting, the suspect fled the location.

Shortly afterwards, police units launched a search operation and arrested the suspect within a few hours in the mountainous area of Tang-e Khoshk.

The firearm used in the incident was seized by authorities.

The suspect was transferred to judicial authorities for further proceedings.
